SONY ERICSSON K750

Sony Ericsson K750 is the most expected phone from all introduced by Sony Ericsson in the recent weeks. It's an improvement of the contemporary top class Sony – Ericsson K700, so the high expectations are reasonable.Sony Ericsson K750 is a high class mobile phone. It will be useful for business, but its entertaining functions are also very good - 2 MP camera, MP3 player and radio. It's an angular phone and only a dark version is officially confirmed, but we've got some unofficial information about a possible silver variant.CameraA sliding cover protects the camera lens on the back of the phone. A spring holds the slider in both positions. Sliding the plug directly activates the appropriate application, so you can start shooting immediately. In one of the corners of the silver plate there is a plug covering the external antenna connector. The lens and the self-portrait mirror appear after sliding the cover aside. Also there are the two lighting diodes which serve as a flash. The camera features a 2 MP resolution and it takes pictures in 1632 x 1224 pixels format. It uses autofocus, so the best way to shoot is to half-press the shutter and wait for a while until the lens focuses.A bit too much animationSony Ericsson K750 uses graphical themes with animated wallpapers. A new feature is the animated main menu and submenu items. After pressing the joystick a matrix of twelve icons smoothly slides down. It's not detaining really but regardless I hope it's possible to switch this feature off. What do we find in the main menu: 2x access to WAP browser entertainment camera messagesBest price at welectronics.commultimedia files player files manager Contacts radio Calls register organizer settings

Sony Ericsson W999i Slider: Is This The End?

It took a little while for Sony Ericsson to enter the skinny phone market, but now that they have, they’re unleashing some of pretty hot handsets. Unlike other Walkman phones that came before it, the Sony Ericsson W999i goes with a green motif, rather than the usual orange that we’ve come to associate with the popular musicphone line. It’s arguable whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but it is nice to see a little change of pace.
You’ll notice that the W999i rocks the same slim sliding form factor as the mid-range W580i (the W999i is 12.5mm thick), but it combines this with the same SureType-like keyboard as the business-oriented M600. In this way, it’s starting to sound like the W999i is trying to be all things to all people. You’ll also find a 2.4-inch color display, 2.0 megapixel camera, and high-speed HSDPA connectivity.
Based on the model number, I’m inclined to come to one of two conclusions: Either this is the last Walkman phone to ever be produced (unlikely) or every other Walkman phone will not have the same level of specs (also unlikely). I guess we get to look forward to the W1000i…

Smartphone Turns to Cameraphone With Sony Ericsson G902

Razec from the Esato board is at it again, releasing a “storm” of new concept phones that should please all lovers and even haters. One of those handsets is the Sony Ericsson G902 “superphone”, featuring a 7.2 megapixel CCD sensor designed by Sony that guarantees you’ll be taking pictures like a pro.

Sony Ericsson K770 Cyber-shot Mobile Phone

Sony Ericsson announced the new K770 candy-bar style Cyber-shot mobile phone. Sony Ericsson K770 features a 3.2 Megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom, a seconadary camera for video calls, a 1.9-inch 260k color LCD display, 16MB internal memory and a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot.
THe Sony Ericsson K770 supports Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It measures 105 x 47 x 14.5 mm and weights 95 grams.

First pics of 5 mpx, GPS equipped Sony Ericsson Cybershot. Kt780i, K830i or K870i?

The known specs of Sony Ericsson Cybershot K870i/ K830i/K780i include 16M color QVGA display, built-in GPS sensor and 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash.
The reason we are not sure which handset this one is upgrading, is both the looks and specs. From the looks of it, this Cybershot phone most closely matches K770i, so it might be numbered SE K780i.

But the bump-up in specs is significant enough, for it to be an upgrade to K810i Cybershot, too. With a Sony Ericsson K830i number tag.
The least likely suggestion is for this handset to be an upgrade SE K850i. The absence of Xenon flash would be clearly a downgrade for the photography feature phone, and inclusion of GPS chip is nowhere near enough for a significant upgrade. I would expect the new flagship Sony Ericsson K870 Cybershot to come with either 3x optical zoom, or 8 megapixel camera, or both with the first one being the most likely proposition.

Anyway, it’s not that long until Barcelona Show, and we’ll know all the cool details by then.

Sony W200 Walkman Phone for Everyone

Sony Ericsson brings in the new W200 Walkman phone - and SE calls it the Walkman phone for everyone. With enough memory to store about four albums, the phone comes bundled with Disc2Phone music management software.
The Sony W200 is equipped with an FM radio receiver for additional entertainment, which lets you store 20 stations of your choice. A dedicated Walkman key is available on the device. By default, you get a 128MB Memory Stick Micro (M2), which is upgradeable to 1GB.
Thrown in along with the Sony W200 is Sony Ericsson's HPM-64 stereo headphone featuring Bass Reflex. There's also a speakerphone for such mundane duties as alarm clock. A disappointing VGA camera apart, it comes with a decent web browser and supports video messaging, push email and PC sync.
The phone supports Java MIDP 2.0, which is good news for mobile gamers. Now if only they upped the 65k color screen to something nicer...
Expect the Sony Ericsson W200 in Q2 2007 in two flavors: a GPRS 900/1800/ 1900MHz compatible model and a GPRS 850/1800/1900MHz compatible model. SE will be offering it in two colors: Rhythm Black aSony Ericsson today announced its upcoming W200 Walkman phone, which has a reported music playback battery life of 18 hours. The included 128MB Memory Stick Micro card and 27MB of internal memory can hold only about four full albums of MP3 or AAC tracks, but pop a 2GB stick into the built-in slot and you've got yourself a "music phone that compliments your existing MP3 player." The W200 has a dedicated Walkman key for quick and easy access to your music via Walkman Music Player 1.0.
Available in Rhythm Black or Pulse White in Q2 2007, the W200 features a 65K-color screen (128 x 160), FM tuner with 20 customizable presets, speakerphone that allows you to use the radio as an alarm, HTML web browser, and VGA camera with 4x digital zoom.
Pricing hasn't been announced yet, but get this: you can even use the W200 to call people! It's like an actual cell phone or something. nd Pulse White.
